How to Upload your Gun Trust to your Silencer Shop Account Guide

When ordering from Silencer Shop, you have the ability to upload your own gun trust if you don't want to use their Single Shot Gun Trust that is limited to only one firearm.  If you need to get a gun trust that isn't limited to one firearm, you can view our unlimited gun trust that allows for an unlimited amount of firearms to be added to your gun trust and can be used with your Silencer Shop order.  In our, How to Upload your Gun Trust to your Silencer Shop Account Guide, we will explain the steps needed to add a third party gun trust to your Silencer Shop order and account.  

Method 1: Upload your notarized gun trust directly to your Silencer Shop account

Step 1:  Follow this link to get to your Silencer Shop account.  

Step 2:  Upon clicking this link, you will login into your Silencer Shop account. After you have logged in, you will be taken to your Silencer Shop kiosk registration information.  You will scroll to middle of the page and see the paper and pencil icon to upload your gun trust or upload documentation to support your trust.  This is where you can choose your notarized gun trust file and upload your gun trust to you Silencer Shop account.  The upload limit is 50 MB.  They note that, “If your PDF is over 50 MB please use an alternate method of delivery”.  If your gun trust is over 50 MB in size, you will need to coordinate with Silencer Shop to send them your gun trust.  Be mindful though before uploading your gun trust here, per the Silencer Shop website, “Please Note:  Uploading supporting documents will overwrite the existing documents on file with Silencer Shop."  This means, when you upload your gun trust it will overwrite the gun trust that is on file with Silencer Shop, if applicable.  You can verify which gun trust Silencer Shop has on file by using the blue download button to under the supporting document column to download the current gun trust that Silencer Shop has on file for you.  

After your gun trust is uploaded, Silencer Shop will still review your gun trust.  After your gun trust is reviewed, you can keep the gun trust on file with Silencer Shop for future purchases with them.  You may need to update your gun trust that is on file with Silencer Shop if you amend your gun trust, restate your gun trust, etc.  

If you are updating your gun trust that you have on your account, you might want to download your current gun trust that is on file for your records before you upload your new gun trust.  To do so, you can use the blue download button to under the supporting document column to download the current gun trust that Silencer Shop has on file for you.  

Method 2:  Email your notarized gun trust to Silencer Shop to have your gun trust added to your account

You can easily send your gun trust to Silencer Shop via email too.  In this method you can reply to email that Silencer Shop sends you requesting your gun trust paperwork with your gun trust.  But you will need to make sure that the email address that you send your gun trust to is trust@silencershop.com.  You can also create a new email and send your gun trust to Silencer Shop's gun trust email address trust@silencershop.com, but you may need to reference your order number, account information, etc to help with associating your gun trust with your Silencer Shop order.  

Method 3: Mail a copy of your gun trust to Silencer Shop

You can mail a copy of your notarized gun trust to Silencer Shop, they note to include your order number for reference with your package.  Note, you won't need to send Silencer Shop your original gun trust, but a copy of your notarized, signed and dated gun trust, since they may not return your gun trust back to you.
